Day 92

We were woken up at Claire's usual time this morning (6:15 am) and lounged around the hotel room for a while. Ella thought it was pretty neat that she could lay in bed and watch cartoons. She kept saying how much she loved the hotel and didn't want to go home. Around 10 am we checked out and left for the zoo, with a quick stop to Brookfield Square on the way. It was a free day at the zoo, so it was very busy. We opted to leave the stroller in the car, and I am glad we did. The girls did really well with walking and it was nice not to have to navigate the stroller. It was also pretty chilly, so many of the animals were indoors. Claire liked to stop at every exhibit and repeatedly tell the animals "hi". I think she is going to be a veterinarian when she grows up! Ella's highlight was having a duck walk right next to her. We had a mini picnic at the zoo (which Ella will argue was NOT a picnic because we didn't sit on a blanket) and headed for home around 2pm. The girls did extremely well with the travel and the hotel stay. It was a great little mini vacation!
